Taij Kumarie Moteelall (she/her)

Born in Guyana and residing largely in the Bronx, New York, I am a creative revolutionary who co-founded Media Sutra—a socially regenerative business led by People of Color. We merge transformative storytelling, resource mobilization, and healing justice to build solidarity economies that work for all. Our collective expertise spans arts activism, storytelling, facilitation, coaching, healing, and shifting narratives. We have raised millions, launched impactful organizations and networks, created award-winning films, and facilitated transformative leadership development.

A certified Empowerment Trainer and Restorative Justice Circle Keeper, I developed the FAB (Fearless, Abundant, Bold) trauma-informed coaching methodology to support artists, cultural workers and entrepreneurs. I support clients to transform limiting beliefs into liberating beliefs, embody resource mobilization practices, and boldly take up space through storytelling.

With support from Creatives Rebuild New York, I served as the Arts + Activism Resident at Jahajee, leading efforts to advance gender justice within the Indo-Caribbean community. My current artistic projects include Jahajees Rising, an episodic TV series exploring themes of gender justice and transformative justice within the Indo-Caribbean diaspora, and 34 Days: The Fight for Dyett, documenting a historic hunger strike in Chicago. I am now an Artmaker Fellow at Galaxy Gives, a foundation that supports criminal justice reform, decarceration and abolition.

I also serve as a leader in initiatives such as Standing in Our Power, Dandelion Medicine Liberation, and WILDSEED Community Farm and Healing Village, and WRAP (Wealth Reclamation Academy of Practitioners).
